Very funny, I used to watch the Johnny Carson show all the time, and really was fun to watch. Steve Martin is truly an exellent comedian too. Mahalo for this clip.

It’s been years now and I still miss Carson. the new guys work hard and have good material, but just don’t have his timing and overall sense of the audience in front of him…

That was sooo uncomfortable. It was killing me and yet I couldn’t turn it off! I don’t know whether to keep laughing or pray for forgiveness. Great & Terrible!
No one will ever replace Johnny Carson. He knew he could make us all laugh. Jay Leno etc. are good but will never compare in sketches, and/or off the wall bits.
Steve Martin is great, he is a native Californian as I am. He was born in Garden Grove, Ca. and was off to a slow start. I was not a big Johnny Carson fan but he was good at times. I always liked the older comedians with the one liners.
GREAT STUFF THANKS FOR POSTING THE LINK
